“2021 Best Book Finalist” awarded by American Book Fest for a title that affirms women with positive role models from the Bible that inspire us to courageously face today’s challenges.
Women are barraged by negative influences and impossible standards, but Women in the Bible Small Group Bible Study offers a call to seek affirmation in God and to turn to women in the Bible as role models. Because women in the Bible overcame challenges with courage and faith, they can teach us about leadership, character, and strength. Their message for us today? With God all things are possible, especially when women courageously respond to God’s call.
Professor, frequent media guest and award-winning author, Marina Hofman (PhD), survived a severe trauma and experienced a brain injury that left her with a choice: slowly fade away stuck at home or face her fears and move forward in faith. She had earned a PhD in theology and knew the stories of the women of the Bible well. Returning to these stories, Marina resonated with their lives in new and powerful ways. Now, Marina brings the transforming and life-giving messages of women in the Bible in an accessible study and free video series to inspire other women who face challenges and need encouragement.
Women in the Bible Small Group Bible Study was awarded “2021 Best Book Finalist” by American Book Fest and has been interviewed on 90+ major media across North America. For more information or to book an interview, visit https://womeninthebible.info/media or contact marinahofman@gmail.com.

BOOK INFO
Women in the Bible teach us about leadership, character, relationships, redemption, and the important role that women have in God’s plan of salvation. But how often do we learn about their stories? How many women today are guided by these models of faithfulness?
This 8-part Bible study inspires women to look to the Bible for affirmation with a Bible study that provides a perfect way to transition into a more faithful life. Individuals and small groups discover how women in the Bible respond to challenges, take bold actions to bring about justice, and overcome significant social limitations to find an inspirational message of hope and encouragement for all of us who must navigate today’s challenging and uncertain times.
Each chapter examines one woman’s story from a fresh and positive perspective and an accompanying study guide to each women’s story provides insights and key questions to encourage thoughtful reflection and lively conversation. A free accompanying video series is available on the author’s website.
